Located in the northeast of Bo Hon Island, 14 km south of Bai Chay Beach, Quang Ninh province, Luon Cave is currently a favorable destination for both local and foreign visitors coming to Halong Bay. In comparison with other grotto system in the Bay, the cave is a humble Nature creation with only 60 meters long, 4 meters wide and 2.5 – 4 meters up ceiling height on tidal level. To reach the place, kayaking along water line might be the most possible way due to the space limitation.

The name “Luon” is generated from the unique grotto construction itself, as a closed mountain arcs with flooded floor. From midst cave, a green lake links the sea by a long narrow tunnel.
